Casey Lyons has been entrenched in the world of music since he was 7 years old taking piano lessons. At the age of 14 he picked up the guitar and started writing songs. His initial passion was using traditional pop and rock structures and developing a unique style within those structures.

As time marched on he became more obsessed with subtle and delicate textures within a larger, somewhat chaotic soundscape. This was where he became interested in scoring and writing for productions. His love of podcasting prompted him to start the Modern Superior Podcasting Company with a few co-founders, finding acclaim in such publications as The AV Club, Buzzfeed, The Toronto Star, BlogTO and others. This was when he basically fall backwards into writing, recording, mixing and mastering theme and interstitial music. This is also where he learned to edit, mix and master podcasts.

He was contacted by Jamie Dew (Dewvre Podcasts) for a massive undertaking: to score, mix and master a nine part podcast miniseries based on the unmade yet infamous Star Wars script allegedly written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

Renowned comedian Mark Forward commissioned a custom piece for a televised stand up spot (air date upcoming).
